yep, your gallery is amazing, that was inspiring for me,
right now i am learning ZBrush because i am interested in making my girls 3d... so see ya around...:)

I think zBrush is a great tool for detailing a model, but a bit cumbersome for creating new ones. :)

ooh, what program you recommend to learn then?
I am only interested in giving shape and poses, not so much in animation..

There is a myriad of options nowadays. When I got started there were only 2 programs in the whole world, but now you can pick from more than 2 dozens. If you want to get started without spending a cent, I suggest Blender3D [link] because it's 100% free, has a huge community, 3 feature movies have been created using it (industry tested), and it keeps being updated - perhaps even more than other programs. :)
